Resting in the Holy Spirit of God

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) 

Dear Lord God, Help to rest our mind and body as we pray and whenever needed. We ask that through the power of Your Holy Spirit, that we come closer to You. Lead us to a place of rest, joy and comfort. Forgive our sins and “create in us a clean heart” dear Lord. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit to guide our way. Help us to know Your Holy will and to live according to Your Will. Shield us with Your Holy Spirit that we may be touched only with goodness, peace and love. Show us the way, and as we knock, open the door within our mind where we find comfort and rest in Your Presence and Holy Love. Thank you God, Amen
